Grand Teton National Park is one of my favorite places in Wyoming. The mountains just seem to come out of no where, the lakes are a beautiful shade of blue and it is so lush and full of life. Adam and I have visited the park at least a dozen times since moving to Wyoming. If you ever get a chance to visit, hike the Teton Crest Trail, I highly recommend it. Sooo beautiful.
Mary and Mike live in Florida but Mary worked at Yellowstone National Park and had always loved the Tetons so when she was planning her elopement it was an easy decision on where to do it. They got ready in one of the Colter Bay cabins… in true Teton fashion, we encountered a fox and a bear that morning. Luckily they both just wondered on by.
Mary’s father had passed away but still made it to her wedding day in spirit. A little charm with his finger print as well as a small amount of his ashes were tied around her bouquet. Such a sweet momento to her father. Her mother walked her down the trail where Mike waited on a little peninsula of Colter Bay beach. After a sweet ceremony we walked around the lake a bit more for some epic photos in front of the Tetons ending in the lake itself. It doesn't get any better than that!
