I had only been to Wheatland a handful of times since moving to Wyoming when I was contacted about shooting Amberly and Chris's wedding. One thing I remembered most about it was the amazing sunset every night while I was there. You don't just forget about a Wheatland sunset.
Chris and Amberly planned such a sweet wedding in the backyard of Amberly's parents home just outside of Wheatland. There were so many personal touches...Amberly's mother made the cake, and put so much work into making the ranch look absolutely perfect. They had a bagpiper fully clad in authentic attire. The best man played in the live band, and they even had beer brought in from Stevens Point, Wisconsin(which I found exceptionally cool since that's where Adam and I went to college!) The best thing about a backyard wedding? There is no curfew so you can party all night long! Oh and by the way, Wheatland did not disappoint on it's sunset!
